K-5 Little Warriors Program

The K-5 Little Warriors Afterschool Program is designed to empower students to embrace their genius, establish a sense of community, and explore learning activities that enhance their health and well-being. This is done through active play, project-based learning, enriched learning experiences, and field trips. The program operates from September to June. The NLA Little Warriors Programs focus on six pillars:

1. Whole Child: Ensure students are seen, heard, supported, and safe
2. Skill Development: Reading, Math, STEAM
3. City as a Campus: Engage students in non-traditional experiences
4. Engagement: Leverage students as innovators and creators
5. Participation: Equitable access to all resources and activities
6. Training: Develop staff to cultivate a diverse and inclusive culture
