NLA showed me that anyone can go to college. Just because no one in my family has ever been to college, it doesn’t mean that it isn’t for me or that I can’t do it.
— Melvina B. - Perry High School '19
Given this opportunity to experience college while still in high school made me more focused and motivated. It also took away a lot of the anxiety that I had about going to college. This program encourages students to start thinking about their future, and most importantly, it brings students from different backgrounds together.
— Zainab S. - Brashear High School '18
I am so grateful towards NLA for helping my children improve their reading, writing, and math abilities. Without their programs, we would not be able to afford after-school education.
— Kelly H.
