Tech Warriors lead the Little Learning Warriors in a challenge this week to build the tallest tower out of toothpicks and marshmallows.

In groups of three, the Warriors were given 20 toothpicks, 10 small marshmallows, and 1 large marshmallow (which had to be positioned at the top of the tower to count).

In 30 minutes, the students had to design, plan, and build their towers.  After the time was up, the groups took turns discussing with the class why they decided to plan their towers that way, what worked and what may not have worked so well, and what they would plan to do differently next time based on their results.

The winning tower was 7 inches tall.  Great job, young engineers!
